A Marine’s Journey Chris “Cheeseburger” Brown at the Warrior Exhibit Interview

Every veteran has a story worth preserving, and today we’re proud to share the story of Chris Brown, better known to many as “Cheeseburger.” In this Warrior Exhibit interview from Fayetteville, Tennessee, Linda Williams and Don Counts sit down with Chris to talk about his service in the United States Marine Corps. Chris served as a Lance Corporal from 1998 to 2002 and was a tank technician. He also reflects on his journey through Marine Corps recruit training at Paris Island, South Carolina, and what serving his country has meant to him. The Warrior Exhibit is dedicated to preserving the stories of the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform, ensuring their service and sacrifice are remembered for generations to come. Thank you, Chris, for your faithful service to our country—and thank you for sharing your story.
