A Conversation with Vietnam Veteran Andrew David Buchanan We are honored to share the story of Andrew David Buchanan, a Vietnam War veteran who served our country from 1966 to 1969 and later continued his military service as a member of the Tennessee National Guard for more than 31 years. Mr. Buchanan is a proud Purple Heart recipient who was wounded in action three different times while serving in Vietnam. His story is one of courage, sacrifice, service, and dedication to his country. This interview at the Warrior Exhibit in Fayetteville, Tennessee, where Mr. Buchanan shares memories and experiences from his time in the military and reflects on a lifetime of service.
