This interview is with 94 year old World War II veteran Mr. Billy Norman at the Warrior Project in Fayetteville, Lincoln County Tennessee. Billy Norman is a Navy Veteran who fought in World War II. Norman enlisted in the Navy in 1945 when he was 17. He spent most of the time on a Navy ship in the Pacific Ocean, but he was also stationed at Camp Forrest in Tullahoma. After he got out of the Navy he went back to school at Lipscomb University. The Warrior Project aims to pay tribute to the men and women of Lincoln County who have served in our military. The walls of the exhibit are lined with almost 1,000 pictures of Lincoln County veterans. Mr. Norman also talks about some historical memories of living in Fayetteville.
